NORTH FORSYTH — A single lane of a north Forsyth bridge will close overnight again this week.

From 7 p.m. Wednesday through 6 a.m. Thursday, a single lane on Boling Bridge, which connects Forsyth and Hall counties, on Dawsonville Highway (Hwy. 53) will be closed as Georgia Department of Transportation crews add another concrete footing to the bridge.

The road will be closed from Dogwood Path in northeast Forsyth to the entrance of Little Hall Park, said Katie Strickland, a spokeswoman for GDOT, in a news release.

Flagging operators will direct the overnight traffic, and a pilot truck may be used.

The speed limit will be slowed to 35 miles per hour in the work zone.

Last week, a single lane of the bridge was closed for a similar project.
