‘Possible explosive device’ disrupts travel on residential road in northwest Hall

HALL COUNTY - A residential road in northwest Hall County has been closed due to a “possible explosive device in a vehicle.”

Pine Circle Drive near McEver Road is shut down, according to the Hall school system.

Chestatee middle and high school students who ride Bus No. 2905 in that area “will not be transported this afternoon,” according to a news release from the school district.

“The administrations of those two schools are contacting parents to help make alternate arrangements to get these students home,” the release said.

Bus No. 1703, which transports Lyman Hall Elementary students, had to return three students who live in the Pine Circle area back to Lyman Hall. Officials contacted those students’ parents to pick them up.
