WEST FORSYTH -- The Ashebrooke subdivision off Bethelview and Kelly Mill roads in west Forsyth held their 11th annual Night of Lights, where almost every house was decked out in a total of about 5,360 Christmas lights and yard scenes, including a live nativity scene with animals.

Cars lined up bumper to bumper to get a glimpse of the lights, with homeowners providing hot chocolate, apple cider and candy canes along the way. Santa even was outside to meet kids passing through in cars.

Donations were taken for two neighbors — Peter Taylor, who is suffering from transverse myelitis, and Naomi Ziva, who is fighting cancer.
